Lesson #1 Where To Start?
What I find happening over the years is that most people get caught up with all sorts of hype and then in the long run never reach anywhere. I must warn you- please keep focus I beg you. You can only be successful if you concentrate all your efforts on something that really works.
Today we will be working with Clickbank.
What is Clickbank?
Clickbank is a well known affiliate marketing network with thousands of digital info products that can be downloaded instantly by the buyer after his purchase. A clickbank product can be an ebook or software. You will generally earn generous commissions on the sales since there are no shipping costs for the merchant. You can earn commissions up to $100 on a single product. It's easy to register as an affiliate, and it takes less than 5 minutes.
How do you get paid?
Clickbank send checks (your affiliate commissions) every fifteen days like clockwork. I receive my checks every two weeks and you can start receiving your checks in the mail as well if you follow this course and decide to take action.

Step 1 Sign Click Sign Up From the Home Page
Step 2 Fill In your Details
So now you have your Clickbank account, we need to start promoting some products to start making some money. (The Fun Part)
Your Next task is to head over to Clickbank Marketplace. This is where we will choose our products to promote to start making that money.
There are different categories with a list of different sub categories with thousands of products you can chose from. Now I would recommend you start with a category that interest you as this will make life so much easier for you as you will enjoy every aspect of marketing products from that category. So for example if you are good at sports you might want to find something in the Sports and Recreation category.
So let’s get started already! (Please note that you make pause at anytime to get a cup of coffee or some cold beverage or just a snack)
Finding the right product to promote might be a little challenging but don’t worry I will be with you every step of the way. Here is an easy way to find the right product to promote:
Get out a pen and a sheet of paper you will be doing some writing!
Browse through all the categories and take a look at all the stats of each of the products. By stats I mean the % referred, $ earned per sale etc... See image below:
Generally, the top 5 products are extremely competitive and have tons of affiliates promoting it already. It would be quite difficult for you to take on the competition at this stage.
Click through to the next few pages and look for items with a reasonable % referred that isn't too high and a good gravity weighting. Generally, a % referred rate of more then 75% is high and anything with a gravity rating above 30 would be worth a shot.
Now write down 2 products that match each of the criteria above from each of the categories:
Click on "view pitch page" to see the sales page for yourself. It'll instantly become very clear
to you which of the sales pages converts better (will generate more sales). Just put yourself in a buyer’s frame of mind, would you buy from that sales page?
Eliminate the product you think does not have a good sales pitch.
It makes no sense promoting a product that will not make you any sales. We want to generate cash; we don’t have time to waste on products that wont work.
Other things to look out for:
Is the % earned per sale stat high? Generally, I'd never promote a product that pays below % 50 unless it’s a high ticket item.
Lesson # 2By now you should have at least 5 products written down on your list. Lesson #2 we will see if the products that you have chosen will be profitable or not. We want to know if there are actually people searching for keywords that match our products that will buy the type of products we are promoting.
Now we will do some research and we will use a free keyword tool to help us find out the terms searched for relating to our products. So hop over to Wordtracker Now.
Now there are a lot of paid keyword tools available. The one I would recommend Micro Niche Finder. It is the best resource tool an internet marketer could have. I personally use it to find products in markets that has very little competition but will be profitable. There are other keyword tools that are very good like Keyword Elite but I think you will enjoy using Micro Niche Finder as it is more user friendly with excellent results. However only go for it if you can afford it, otherwise stick with our free keyword tool: Wordtracker.
So let’s say you are promoting a dog training ebook, then type dog training in the search box and you will get an estimate of the searches done for that term for the previous month and this will give you an idea on the amount of searches to expect. See image below:
As you can see above there are over 9000 searches for the term dog training for the previous month. This is a good indication that your product can be very profitable. The next thing we want to find out is if there is a lot of competition for the term “dog training”.
So we will hop over Google to see how much people are promoting dog training and if people are even paying to advertise for this term. ( Note if you are using Micro Niche Finder you will get all this information with just one click and you will also get the amount of money other people are paying for advertisements.)
Now If you go to Google and type in any search phrase in quotes "" and look on the far right the number of results listed, in simple terms, is how many pages you are competing with:
Let's look at our example:
Okay over 10 Million, that's way too many! (The gurus don't tell you this...so you are promoting products and still not getting any sales)
Now let’s try “dog training collars” as this also had several searches per month.
Over 144,000 not bad but let’s see if we would have a better chance at another term. “Dog training harness”
Only 4000 results...HOLY COW...that is some great picks my friend, and what I should also note is that there are several people paying for advertisement (all the websites listed on the far right are paying tons of cash for every click on their websites) for that term and we will be promoting it for free. (The next lesson will show you how).
So go ahead and see if there are keywords related to the products that you will be promoting. Try to find results in Google that has 1000 - 5000 results for your keywords in quotes (“”).
The reason we are using Google is because it is the largest search engine and gets the most searches everyday.
So go ahead and do your research and see if you find profitable keywords to promote your products. If however you think there is too much completion for your keywords go back to lesson 1 and get some other products to promote. (Remember this is the hardest step so whenever you find that profitable product or products you are well on your way!)
If you find a search term for one of your products and has little competition then you are ready for lesson #3. Please don’t move on to lesson # 3 unless you have successfully completed lesson 2.
Lesson # 3
Now that you have a product to promote we need to get our affiliate links out like wild fire so that people can click on them make a purchase a we get our commissions.
So the first thing: getting your affiliate links. You should have the product or products that you are promoting written down so now we will go back to clickbank market place and get the affiliate links for those products that you have chosen.
Head over to clickbank now and find the products that you are promoting. Click on create hoplink.
A new window should pop up for you to enter your nickname. Enter the nickname you signed up with. See image below:
After you enter your nickname you will see two links, both are your affiliate links. The bottom link is an html link for you to put on your web pages of blogs (more on this later).
Now that you have your Affiliate link, time to start promoting.

These are just a few websites to put your articles on, however you can get softwares to submit your articles to hundreds of other website and increase your sales. I recommend Directory Submitter because I personally use it and achieve great results. And besides, it saves a lot of time and trouble as oppose to submitting articles manually.
A let me also tell you it is free to post on all of the above websites!
From lesson 2 you should have some keyword phrases that has between 1000 – 5000 results when searching for the phrase in quotes. If you still find it hard to get keywords with little competition, you might need to sacrifice and get Micro Niche Finder. If you don’t have targeted keywords your article will never get picked up, therefore they will never be read, and therefore you will never make a sale.
This is where a lot of people complain: Writing, I hate writing, or I can’t write, or my writing is Crappy.
I am going to show you how to write articles that sell! But if you still don’t want to write articles you can get The Article Wizard software and get some quality articles done for you. For those of us who want to learn how to write killer articles, here we go. (Remember to get your coffee or whichever beverage you may choose).
Have you ever heard about SEO?
You may or may or may not. But if you haven’t don’t worry this lesson will teach you all you need to know about SEO.
First of all, what is SEO? Well, it stands for Search Engine Optimization and it is how search engine friendly your website or your blogs or articles are. Simply put, it is getting your articles on the search engines for free.
The title of your article is very important…..
You must include the keyword phrase you are targeting in your article’s title. For the example we used earlier “dog training harness” it could be “5 ways to use dog training harness to train your dog” or “Dog training harness: how to train your dog to stop barking”.
But what if your phrase is "natural yeast infection remedies"...well...that would probably be ok as a title...but something more effective may be "7 natural yeast infection Remedies That Really Work"...that is a much more clickable title when it shows up on Google, MSN or Yahoo. Don't you think?
Write a relevant Article…..
The next SEO tip is to write an article relevant to your keyword phrase. This means if your title is “5 tips to cook up a killer bbq” then your article shouldn’t be about “great bbq recipes” just because you are promoting bbq recipes book, you get me?
Next thing make sure your keyword phrase appears several times through your article, and don’t just throw it in there. You should make your article flow.

So when writing your articles split in to 3 parts:
The introduction- tell your readers what your article is about!
The body and- tell your readers what you want them to know!
The summary- tell your readers what you told them in the body!
With all that said time to make some money!
Note that you articles don’t have to be over a 1000 words, you can write simple articles with around 250 – 500 words. A lot of people don’t like reading so try to keep it short and spicy.
What you can do also is go to Google and type in your keyword phrase and get some articles and rewrite them. (It is illegal to use someone else article – copy writing)
What type of articles sell?
You can write tips – people love tips e.g. 7 tips on …. Or 3 tips to get you ……
Reviews – If you have purchase to product your self you can review the product so people can see the benefits of buying that product.
FAQ – Find some of the questions that you think people would be asking about the product and give them honest answers.
Tutorial – If you know how to do something that you know a lot of people would love to do as well then teach them how to do it.
You must be wondering how the heck Are You Going to Make Money with Your Articles.
Here is the secret:
You have keyword phrases with 1000 – 5000 optimized results on Google and you know how to write an article using proper SEO technique. This will get your article on Google’s first page (90% of the time if done properly) and that where the money will be coming in.
What you are going to do is place affiliate links in your article. These are going to be the links you got from clickbank marketplace earlier.
How to place your affiliate links in your articles?
In most of the websites listed you will be provided with a bio box. This is where you will sell or promote your products by placing your affiliate links.
Here is an example how to do it – give your readers a sentence or 2 about yourself then send them to the products page you are promoting.
Example: I hope you find those tips on xxxx helpful. You can learn a lot more on xxxx and how it can help you here (affiliate link)
Or
Did you know that you can get ----- from doing xxxx Click here (affiliate link) to learn how you can ----- from xxxx.
Remember your articles should leave your readers begging for more and therefore will want to click on your affiliate links.

It is really simple after you get through your first and second article then the others will be as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Now folks you can do this to drive traffic to your adsense pages or website or even build an opt-in list.
Another method that works very well is blogging, though it is not covered here feel free to check out Rob Benwell's Blogging 2 the Bank 2.0 - top selling ebook on how to use your blogs to generate a pile of cash. once again only if you can afford it, it would be a good investment but if you cant afford it just stick to this course.
You just got to get to work right away!
Doing this can get you a sale your very first day. I should mention you get a lot of traffic from the websites before even getting listed on the search engines. Now lets say you write an article everyday and let say each of those articles gains you $20 per month. Your second month you would be looking at over $600, after 3 months $1800 and it continues…..
